Where do you get your funding?
The majority of our funding comes from charitable foundations, private companies and individuals who beleive in our mission for the Oklahoma artists. We also have staged benefit concerts, and fundrasing events to support our mission. Several private benefactors have also lent generous support.
What does the future hold for OFMI?
In 2008, we release our first annual CD compilation (iROK Radio) with tracks from GREAT Oklahoma aritsts from all over the state. Promote iROK Radio throughout Statewide festivals and events. Host many educational outreach programs with guest speaker in music industry. Provide aide and assistance to emerging artist through our endowment program.
How do I get involved?
Click here to volunteer for OFMI. We'll be in touch about opportunities to participate in many of our programs and events. If you are interested in a leadership position, please join us this year. Be aware that volunteering for OFMI is very demanding. We expect our volunteers to be reliable, professional, and show good judgment at all times. Drinking, drugs and being a slacker is not part of the Oklahoma Foundation for the Music Industry's experience.
